A number of years ago a person let me know that they were a seeker and what did I think about one of the major world religions. I wasn’t prepared to answer. I did gave an answer and I saw it shut her down immediately.
Lately I’ve been in the same town she is and have reached out to her. No response. Ugh. I did it wrong.
Here’s what I should have asked?
- What motivates your question?
- Tell me about your journey?
Those two questions could have changed everything.
I still grieve.
Lesson I hope I will learn.
