We can either stand in awe of evil or stand in awe of God.
One marvels at how bad things are getting, how bad certain leaders are, how people can believe and follow those leaders, or that political party, or say and do those kinds of things.
Or we can marvel at how God is shaking up the nations, stirring up people to seek him, hearts are turning towards him, people are leaving that aren’t really committed, God is doing a new thing on the earth.
What we fill our eyes and ears and minds with during the day on the internet, on tv, and in conversations typically will lead us to one or the other.
But make no mistake, we cannot be in awe of God if our awe of evil is greater.
