“…comfort from his love” (Php 2:1)

Life is brutal at times, and also blessed.  But in the challenging times, our souls need comfort.  A lot of it.

For me a hot fudge sundae helps.  Or chips and salsa.  And YouTube videos.

For others if we’re honest with ourselves we seek out comfort and distraction online or other places.

But there’s one place of comfort that lasts beyond the moment:  Christ’s love.

We say that easy, but in the times of difficulty (and blessing), it is the needed source of our meditation.

Intentional meditation.

Jesus is with us through these times.

He is not distant, but beside us, taking the blows as well.

His love is our comfort.
