I’m still working on my 1000 ways in which “goodness and love follow me all the days of my life,” but I have to confess that these last few days have been tough to see. But the Scripture says “all” the days of my life. And the Hebrew meaning of the word “all” means “all.” So I open my eyes, I no longer merely sit back and see but it’s now time to go and search, and so I write my list:
Friends who invite you to supper when you’ve just stopped by to visit
Neighbors that for every day of their 30 years next door have been good neighbors
The older generation who will take a phone call in the middle of the day and their crazy schedule to try to find wisdom together
A mom who calls you in the middle of the day to say hello.
